All Churchill Hotelware is super-vitrified. Made with
the finest materials, each piece is fired for over 2 days
at a temperature exceeding 1000C. this produces a body
which is as hard as rock. Then a specially developed
glaze is carefully applied and a second firing process
of 18 hours seals this to create a surface that's almost
as smooth as glass
